Howe St. Stairs, at Lakeview Blvd & Howe St.

Changed it up a bit today …

Time: 2:30 pm
Where: Howe St. stairs
Workout: Climb. From Lakeview Blvd to Broadway and back down x 10. Approx 2,250+ steps total.
Notes and observations: I haven’t done this since before the kid was born. It’s a great urban workout, and the rain stayed away long enough for me to get ‘er done.
Music: Fun.

Cardio 4.27

Time: before work
Where: gym, elliptical trainer
Workout: 40 minutes steady state
Notes and observations: Friday is usually my rest day but since I skipped Wednesday I felt obliged to do something. I was reading a fun book so did what I call my lazy workout, a lengthy steady state cardio job where I can read. Usually I do the stairmill as it makes me sweat like nobody’s business and reading makes the time go by so quickly. But my knee problem led me to the elliptical. Good book!
